What are the complications involved with candida infections?
I've had a rash in the groin area for about 4 months. Antifungal prescriptions and pills aren't helping. It has spread down my left leg. Now I think it's on the back on my tongue. I just started taking a new pill ketokonazole and miconazole cream, plus a shampoo for the area. Should I inform my dermatologist that now it looks like there's something on the back of my tongue? Or wait it out for the 3 weeks when i'm supposed to go back and see him? what is the worst that can happen with these problems? Could this have started because of the antibiotic i took 5 months ago?

I've been sick for about 6 years with no diagnoses.It started off with severe nausea, dizziness and anxiety that I never had before then those symptoms got less severe and I started gettingsevere fatigue, lightheadedness, weakness, purple toes, wounds that dont heal well, shortness of breath, intestinal gas, loud stomach noises, chronic runny nose, tingling in feet, change in eye sight and many other strange symptomsI've been tested for Diabetes, Thyroid issues, Celiac, Lupus etc.And they can't find anything wrong with me.I did some research into my medical history and found out I had Thrush infection in my throat about 7 years ago...I also had Angular Cheilitis that same year inflammation that cause sores on each side of my motuh, that can sometimes be caused by Candida Is it possible that maybe I didn't treat it properly and it turned into a Candida infection of the stomach, blood stream etc.

I was prescribed antiobiotics for a couple of years to deal with significant acne. Fortunately it worked well for me. Unfortunately, I may be seeing the bad result of this treatment. After stopping the treatment, I developed oral thrush, which has not gone away despite using an oral fungal called nystatin. On top of that, I am now dealing with some digestive programs gas, bloating, sometimes diarrhea that I think is associated with candida which can be a result of long term antibiotic use . What do you think? I will be discussing this with my doctor.

Going to Emergency (hospital) for Candida infection?
Is having ongoing issues with getting proper diagnosis from family doctor re possible candida infections warrant going straight to hospital emergency? I've been prescribed hydrocortizone, desonide, canesten, Lamasil, took 150mg of Diflucan which seemed to improve my condition but then it got worse. Also went to a walk in clinic and that was a waste of time, they gave my hydrocortizone again which didn't help.
Candida Infection. Sinuses, Rash Behind knee and on genitals.?
I went to the doctor monday with headaches, depression, frontal sinus swelling and a rash on the back of my leg behind my knee and another little one on my inner thigh. Also the rashes appear on my scrotum, base of my penis, and one near the head of my penis. I have a chronic sinus infection what the cat scan on my sinuses showed on monday . I am now taking Avelox a powerful antibiotic used for bacterial infections. I am extremely depressed, very anxious, and ever since i stopped smoking weed, which comes simultaneously with my rash developing, i have developed terrible general anxiety. I have blisters near my anus, there is burning and itching.doc is testing for herpes but online I see that candida infection can be similar. I have not had any flu like symptoms and I was taking antibiotics for about a week and a half. The sores don't seem crusty at all. My partner and I were both tested when we met and we are monogamous, he has even been tested after we started dating because he enlisted in the military. Hi Last January a girl performed unprotected oral sex on me. 5 days after I started to experience tingling, burning , and the head of my penis was scarred with skin like color white bumps... I was told these may be Pearly Penile Papules but I doubt it... There was also discharge from the penis.I went to the doctor afterwards and he suspected UTI so he gave me antibiotics which i took... the discharge was gone after that. So I thought I was clear but the weird bumps on my penis head were still there these bumps only came out on the head They do not erupt and do not cause pain... Had a couple of incidents of Sperm Pus like discharge coming out of my penis while I would be taking a dump.. Sorry for the details i just need to know whats up. a month ago i got pissed off and I just went to that doctor... He gave me a SWAB test and the results said few Candida Pus cells and that i should take anti mycotic medication. I told him that I have G6PD deficiency in which I cant eat beans or take some medications... So until now I have no options for treatment because of the G6PD, and I have had this penis issue since January so I am worried it will get serious eventually.Please help me I would really appreciate it Thank you
